About Individual Therapy
You’ve learned how to keep going.
At work. In your relationships. For your family. For your community.
You carry the weight, meet the expectations, and still keep moving. And while your life may look successful from the outside, something inside feels heavy.
Maybe you’re exhausted. Maybe you’re lonely. Maybe you’re grieving something you never give yourself permission to talk about. Maybe you’re quietly wondering whether the life you’ve built still feels like your own.
Many of the Black adults I work with have become experts at functioning while quietly struggling. They’ve learned how to be capable, dependable, and resilient while rarely feeling like they have permission to need support themselves.
Somewhere along the way, needing support may have started to feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or even undeserved.
Therapy here isn’t about fixing you, because you aren’t broken. It’s about creating space to say what’s real, understand what what you’re holding onto, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounded, honest, and sustainable.
